Application & Process Selection

Layered relief designs on suitable metals and metal component identification. Engraving depth, finish and cycle time must be evaluated on the actual material.

The 2.5D process engraves a layer, changes the column height and continues at the next focus position. It uses a 2D galvo with motorized refocusing rather than a 3D head with a dynamic Z-focus mirror.
